Chicken Biryani
INGREDIENTS (For 2-3 Persons)
300 Gms Boneless Chicken
3 Onions
5 Tomatoes
5-6 Garlic Cloves
2-3 Green Chillies
Butter/Oil (4-5tbspns)
Rice
Masalas:-
(Biryani Masala, Chicken Tandoori Masala, Red chilly powder, Turmeric, Coriander Powder)
SALT AS PER TASTE
Garam Masalas:-
Whole not powder including:-
Star Anise-2
Cinnamon Stick-1
Small and Big Cardamoms-(2/1)
Cloves 2-3
Bay leaves 4-5
RECEIPE:-
STEP 1
Par boil the rice by adding one bay leave, star anise and cinamon stick along with salt and butter. Keep aside.
STEP 2
In a blender, add onions, tomatoes, garlic and chillies and blend them to smooth paste.
Take a round pan in which u have to make a biryani, add butter/oil and add the whole garam masalas mentioned above and let it cook until aroma comes..
After that add that blended onions paste and let it cook until it leaves oil.
Meanwhile add the masalas in it..
After it leaves the oil from sides add washed chicken pieces in it and keep on low flame for 10 minutes.
Add two glass of water and check all the masalas and the salt in it and bring it to boil.
Keep the pan covered until the chicken turns soft.
After the chicken is ready keep half the quantity of chicken aside as layers are to be formed.
STEP 3
Keep half the chicken into pan, add half quantity of par boiled rice and above that rice add coriander and mint leaves along with kaju, saffron strands for colour, and deep fried onion slices and a little of lime juice.
Repeat the layer and add little butter above rice to avoid drying of it.
Now wait for the biryani to cook completely by kreping layered setting on low flame for about 15-20 minutes.. Mix in between if u feel it is being sticking up to the base of pan.
Serve hot and enjoy its awesome taste 😋😋
